Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Processing Manager to join their growing company. The Mortgage Processing Manager is responsible for ensuring the entire loan process operates efficiently and effectively and timely while maintaining company service and quality standards from loan set up to closing.

*Please note, this is an in-office position. Must be commutable to the office, remote work is not offered for this opportunity*

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Display an observable sense of urgency in the execution of daily job functions.
  • Ensure the integrity of all data entered into the Company’s operating systems, to drive flawless loan quality
  • Remain current on company requirements/federal and state regulations to ensure compliance
  • Manage pipeline assignment and distribution of workflow to insure adherence to acceptable turn time benchmarks and standards set by the Company
  • Monitor and evaluate direct report team and provide performance management, coaching, counseling and remediation as required
  • Maximize productivity within the group by recommending changes to process and/or systems to gain efficiencies
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers in accordance with levels and expectations consistent with Company standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to refine the process to support corporate growth and goals
  • Identify strategic opportunities to enhance system and process through utilization/optimization of technology
  • Implement, interpret and administer company policies, performance expectations and procedures to provide consistency throughout the loan origination process
  • Maintain clear and consistent line of communication between direct reports, production, underwriting, account management, documents, funding and management team
  • Ensure all mandated and required procedures are applied to pipeline loans being cancelled or denied
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proven ability to lead internal teams with excellent management, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver against expectations for senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work in, deliver results and iterate quickly in a large organization
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of loan processing, Underwriting, Funding, Docs and Loan Setup.
  • Strong analytic, root cause identification, problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Ability to design workflows and make adjustments based on volume.
  • Detail-oriented, enjoy working with complex projects, and have excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Commitment to task; ability to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting. high motivation and a sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to independently prioritize activities.
  • Strong leadership ability to influence the actions and opinions of others; to exhibit judgment in leading others to desired objectives.
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish a high level of credibility across functional lines of business and organizational levels.
  • Understand financial realities of the business and know how to operate within a budget.
  • Technical knowledge to oversee operations and related loan origination systems etc.
Education & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years mortgage origination experience
  • Minimum 2 years in leadership role
  • PC computer with Windows operating system
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with Loan Origination System
