Our client is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join their growing company. This position is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the company's objectives. Responsible for meeting overall sales and service goals.

*Please note, this is an in-office position. Must be commutable to the office, remote work is not offered for this opportunity*
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the administration and efficient daily operation of a full-service branch office, including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the company's objectives.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses and community leaders to expand relationships and increase deposits.
  • Ensure a complete excellent customer experience and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Represent the company within the local community by actively participating in local organizations and community events; network to expand the reach of the branch and the company.
  • Lead the branch to achieve established sales goals by generating referral business, new accounts, and management of current clients’ accounts.
  • Provide training, coaching, counseling, development and motivation for branch staff and maintain overall team spirit and morale.
  • Prepare reports for management as required.
 
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bilingual Chinese/English is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with three to five years’ previous community banking experience as a Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager.
  • Extensive background in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development, motivation, and community relations.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
  • Must have strong supervisory, motivational, sales, organizational, communication, conflict, management, and computer skills.
  • Strong community involvement and/or experience building partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
  • Ability to identify, think through, and solve problems accurately and efficiently.
  • High ethics.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to providing excellent service to our internal and external customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and work respectfully and cooperatively with others.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen, speak and write clearly and concisely, and focus on the recipient’s point of view.
