Our client is seeking an experienced Secondary Marketing Manager to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for optimizing the profitability of mortgage product sales to aggregators and to create and manage the pipeline reporting and secondary strategy.
Oversee aggregator relationships in order to provide sound and profitable sales.
Work closely with the Director of Mortgage Administration and with Mortgage Sales to determine pricing strategy, margin spread and reporting.
Manage lock activity, pricing engine and transactional salability in the secondary market.
Assure compliance with all regulations and policies and maintain safe and sound banking practices.
Develop and produce weekly and monthly department financial performance reports. Manage product development efforts of the Consumer Mortgage Department.
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
1-2 years Secondary Marketing experience in a mortgage company or financial institution
3-5 years relevant mortgage experience
Preferred Requirements:
5 years Secondary Marketing experience in a mortgage company or financial institution
MBA
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Interpersonal skills to include effective verbal and written communication with staff, key leaders and other departments.
Demonstrated ability to work with people in an environment of urgency, demands, flexibility, and improvisation with on the spot decision making.
Highly developed analytical skills
Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
Strong knowledge of loan pipeline management, pricing and execution of mortgage loans into the secondary market, loan sales, related accounting, and reporting.
Familiarity with the general operations of a mortgage company or financial institution with annual loan sales in excess of $100 million.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance issues affecting all aspects of the mortgage lending process.
