On-Site Loan Servicing Specialist

  • Contact customers regarding the status of ownership and servicing of their loan.
  • Respond to customers questions, and issues through Freshdesk (email ticketing system)
  • Coordinate service transfers with the loan buyers and their new servicers.
  • Generate the appropriate data tapes for the new servicers.
  • Track, record, and remit payments made during interim servicing.
  • Track and transfer escrowed insurance and property taxes.
  • Ensure that tax and insurance payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Research payment issues and coordinate with new servicer to resolve.
  • Follow-up with borrower that have not made payments to new servicer.
  • Review tax forms to ensure proper escrow payments are made on time.
  • Two year degree in business, finance or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial and/or construction loan servicing, loan documentation or related job experience in the financial industry.
  • Experience with Loreta is a plus. 
  • Experience with Mail Merge is a plus.
Other Qualifications Include:
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly MS Excel and MS Word. (Must be able to complete V-Lookups in Excel)           
  • Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be detailed oriented with a commitment to a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger balancing and common banking transactions.
