Position Overview:

As a Manufactured Home Loan Processor/Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the loan process for our clients seeking financing for manufactured homes. You will be responsible for taking incoming loan applications gathering and verifying documentation, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mortgage lending practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate and Process loan applications for manufactured home purchases and refinances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review loan files to ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with clients, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information and resolve any issues that may arise during the loan process.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of applicants' financial status, credit history, and property value to determine loan eligibility.
  • Prepare loan packages for submission to underwriting and coordinate with underwriters to address any conditions or additional documentation needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the loan process, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the loan application and closing process, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas NMLS License required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, with specific experience processing manufactured home loans preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with loan origination software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
