Job Title: Mortgage Closer/Funder

Location: Toledo, OH (In-Office)

With a strong commitment to integrity and customer satisfaction, they are looking to expand their team by hiring a dedicated Mortgage Closer/Funder to join their Toledo office.

Position Overview: As a Mortgage Closer/Funder, you will play a critical role in the mortgage process, ensuring all loans are closed accurately and funded in a timely manner. You will work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate smooth transactions and provide an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify loan documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare closing documents and coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and other parties involved in the closing process.
• Verify and ensure all conditions and requirements are met prior to closing.
• Manage the funding process, including disbursement of funds and recording of loan documents.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the closing and funding process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from borrowers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Previous experience in mortgage closing or funding preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage and real estate terminology and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
