Job Title: Processor/Loan Officer Assistant

Potential Candidate must reside in the state of Pennsylvania

Salary: $45,000-50,000 per year plus per file bonuses and overtime

Job Overview:
As a Processor/Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a high-volume broker with all aspects of the loan application and processing. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation, processing, and management of loan files, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of mortgage processing, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the complete loan application process from submission to closing, including processing FHA, conventional, and Non-QM loans.
  • Review and verify loan applications, supporting documentation, and financial information.
  • Calculate income and structure loans with precision, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of files effectively.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare and review loan documentation and ensure timely submission.
  • Coordinate with underwriters and other relevant parties to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working for a mortgage broker or in a similar role involving loan processing and application assistance.  Must have experience working as a Mortgage Processor.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in processing FHA, and conventional loans.
    • Proficient in calculating income and structuring loans.
    • Tech-savvy with experience using mortgage processing software and tools.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to handle high-volume workloads.
    • Recent experience within a processing or LOA role (10 months)
  • Motivation: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to obtain NMLS licensing.
  • Availability: Willing to work overtime as needed.
