Position Overview: We are looking for a licensed loan officer assistant with an active FL NMLS license to provide administrative and operational support to our loan officers in Tampa. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers with the mortgage application process, including gathering documentation and completing paperwork
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan process
- Prepare loan files for submission to underwriting and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete
- Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and other team members to ensure timely processing and closing of loans
- Maintain accurate records and files for all loan transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the loan process
- Stay current on industry regulations and lending guidelines
Requirements:
- Active FL NMLS license
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with mortgage origination software and MS Office Suite
