Remote Bilingual Pipeline Manager

Our client, a leading mortgage lender based in New Jersey, is focused on providing flexible and innovative financing solutions. We are seeking a skilled and bilingual Mortgage Pipeline Manager to help oversee and manage loan pipelines and ensure the smooth processing and structuring of loans.

Position Overview:

The Mortgage Pipeline Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the loan officers' pipelines, ensuring that loans are processed efficiently, accurately, and within designated timelines. This position requires someone with strong mortgage industry knowledge, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate teams. As a bilingual manager, you will ensure effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams and clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the mortgage loan process and will be capable of structuring and processing loans while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the daily loan pipeline, ensuring that Loan Officers (LOs) are meeting deadlines and following best practices for loan processing. Monitor loan progress, ensuring that any issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
  • Loan Structuring & Processing: Work closely with LOs to help structure loans appropriately based on the client’s needs, including reviewing applications, verifying documentation, and ensuring loan compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and support the team of Loan Officers, providing guidance, coaching, and assistance to ensure that loan files move through the pipeline efficiently and accurately.
  • Loan Review & Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on loan files to ensure they are complete and adhere to internal policies, state, and federal regulations.
  • Client & Partner Communication: Maintain communication with borrowers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless process from application to closing. Use bilingual skills to manage communication with Spanish-speaking clients and partners.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and address any issues or roadblocks in the loan pipeline, including resolving complex borrower situations or addressing document discrepancies.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on loan pipeline status, loan processing times, and team performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all loans are processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality control.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, with at least 2 years in a pipeline management or loan processing role. Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting, and the overall loan lifecycle.
  • Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, brokers, and team members.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with loan origination systems (LOS), pipeline management tools, and other mortgage industry software.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team management experience with a focus on achieving results and meeting targets.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple loan files, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth operations under tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address any challenges or obstacles in the loan pipeline.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in loan documentation and compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both internal teams and external clients in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of various loan products, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans.
  • Familiarity with mortgage compliance regulations (e.g., TRID, RESPA, TILA, etc.).
  • Experience working with bilingual teams or in a bilingual environment.
  • Strong Knowledge and ability to structure loans
Candidate Must reside in CST or EST time zone.
Fluent in Spanish is a firm requirement.
