Salary: $50,000 base + bonus | Total Compensation: $80,000–$120,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established private money lender specializing in DSCR, Bridge, and Fix & Flip loans for real estate investors. Known for their fast, flexible financing and boutique client service, they are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support their origination team in a full-time, in-office role based in Huntington Beach, CA.
Position Summary:
The Loan Officer Assistant will support daily loan operations and pipeline management, ensuring that files move efficiently from application through closing. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has experience or interest in private/hard money lending.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist loan officers in the intake, documentation, and processing of DSCR, Bridge, and Fix & Flip loans

Communicate with borrowers, title companies, and internal departments to ensure timely follow-up and accurate file completion

Input and maintain loan data in the proprietary LOS (LendingWise-based system)

Track pipeline milestones and outstanding conditions

Help prepare loan documents and disclosures in compliance with company policies

Coordinate closing logistics and support post-close documentation when needed
Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience as a loan officer assistant, loan processor, or similar role in residential or business-purpose lending

Experience or working knowledge of DSCR, Bridge, and Fix & Flip loans required

Previous exposure to private money or hard money lending is a huge plus

Familiarity with LendingWise or similar LOS systems preferred

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication

Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working in-office in Huntington Beach, CA
