Mortgage Loan Processor
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (On-site, Full-time)
Salary: $50,000–$62,000
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to support the smooth and compliant flow of residential mortgage loans from application through closing. The processor will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and reviewing documentation to ensure files are complete and ready for underwriting, while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with borrowers, underwriters, and loan officers to assemble complete loan files
Review and verify all required documents before submission to underwriting
Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files in accordance with investor and internal guidelines
Address and clear underwriting conditions
Submit finalized loan packages for final underwriting approval and closing
Manage a pipeline of loans to ensure timely movement through the process
Perform additional support tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
1–2 years of mortgage loan processing experience required
Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, VA, FHA, and Non-QM guidelines
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Computer proficiency required; bilingual (English/Mandarin) preferred

Our client is specifically seeking candidates who have experience working as a Mortgage Loan Processor.
At this time, they are not considering candidates coming from higher-level roles such as underwriting, or operations management, nor candidates seeking to step back into a processor role from a higher position.
