Position: In-Office Loan Closer
Location: Ozone Park, NY
Salary: $50,000 + Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

A well-established mortgage lender in Ozone Park, NY is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Closer to join their in-office team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, communication, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare closing documents in accordance with loan approvals and investor guidelines

• Coordinate closing timelines with internal departments, title companies, attorneys, and borrowers

• Review final loan packages for completeness, compliance, and accuracy prior to closing

• Ensure all conditions are cleared and all documentation is collected prior to funding

• Disburse funds accurately and manage wire instructions with a high level of confidentiality

• Maintain timely communication with borrowers, processors, underwriters, and third-party partners

• Track post-closing documents and follow up to resolve any trailing document issues

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent mortgage closing experience

• Strong understanding of TRID and loan compliance regulations

• Familiarity with Encompass or other LOS preferred

• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

• Professional and courteous communication skills
