Mortgage Processor- hybrid after training

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor with at least 3 years of recent experience in the role, who has worked in a processing capacity within the past 12 months. Candidates must have a strong understanding of loan processing from application through closing and be able to manage a high-volume pipeline in a deadline-driven environment.

This position requires urgency, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, paperless setting.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage an assigned pipeline of 40–60+ loans daily and weekly

  • Process loans from application through closing, including document collection and review for underwriting submission

  • Maintain daily workflow prioritization to meet required closing dates

  • Communicate expectations, loan requirements, and status updates with all parties involved

  • Order and follow up on all required verifications and documentation in accordance with compliance timelines

  • Review approval conditions and resolve title issues, liens, and documentation discrepancies

  • Calculate income across various employment types and interpret loan guidelines accurately

  • Provide excellent customer service through professionalism and clear, timely communication

  • Ensure all documentation—borrower and third-party—is reviewed and analyzed for completeness and accuracy

  • Support internal team members and loan officers throughout the loan process

  • Maintain service levels and client satisfaction ratings as designated by management

  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent mortgage loan processing experience

  • Must have worked in a processing role within the past 12 months

  • Solid knowledge of processing, underwriting, and closing procedures

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in a fully paperless system

  • Willingness to follow established procedures and meet all compliance standards

  • NMLS-MLO license preferred or willingness to obtain

  • Availability to work extended hours as needed
