Position: Mortgage Loan Processor

Location: Jacksonville, FL (In-Office Only)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $28–$30/hour

Overtime: Eligible

Start Date: February 2

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to support a high-volume processing environment. This role is fully in-office and responsible for managing a large pipeline while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely closings.

 

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Manage an assigned pipeline of 35–50+ loans on a daily and weekly basis

• Process loans from application through closing

• Collect, review, and analyze borrower and third-party documentation

• Submit complete and accurate files to underwriting

• Order and follow up on verifications and required documentation

• Calculate borrower income for all employment types

• Review and clear underwriting conditions

• Resolve routine title issues including vesting issues, liens, and reconveyances

• Interpret credit and underwriting guidelines

• Maintain daily workflow prioritization to meet closing deadlines

• Communicate clearly with borrowers, internal teams, and all parties involved

• Deliver high-quality customer service in accordance with established standards

 

Qualifications

 

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage processor experience within the last 5 years

• Strong understanding of credit underwriting guidelines

• Experience managing high-volume pipelines

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
