Remote Mortgage Processor

Overview
This Senior Mortgage Processor role is designed for a highly experienced processor who can run complex files with “junior underwriter” level depth. You’ll handle borrower qualification details, stay on top of guidelines across multiple programs, and keep Loan Officers and internal partners aligned through clear, calm communication.

Responsibilities
• Manage complex loan files in an in-house lending environment from initial setup through closing readiness
• Perform and/or validate income calculations across multiple income types and confirm accurate qualification
• Apply strong program and guideline knowledge across Conforming, Jumbo, VA, FHA, USDA, DPA, and DSCR to keep files moving cleanly
• Communicate proactively with Loan Officers and internal partners, maintaining calm, clear expectations and timelines
• Identify issues early, document decisions clearly, and coordinate solutions to support timely, compliant closings

Qualifications
• 5+ years of mortgage processing experience in an in-house lender environment
• Demonstrated strength in income calculation and qualification across multiple income types
• Strong working knowledge of multiple loan programs including Conforming, Jumbo, VA, FHA, USDA, DPA, and DSCR
• Strong written and verbal communication, with a steady, service-oriented approach with Loan Officers
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple files and competing priorities

$65-70k qualifying monthly funding bonus
