Compensation:  $25.00 per hour, plus per-loan incentive compensation on closed loans
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, overtime eligible

Overview

Our client is hiring a Mortgage Loan Processor to support a busy mortgage operation by helping move loans efficiently through the process. This role works closely with loan originators, underwriters, borrowers, and internal staff to ensure files are complete, organized, and prepared for underwriting, closing, and QC review.

Responsibilities

• Process loans to agency guidelines for presentation to underwriting
• Communicate with borrowers throughout the loan process
• Prepare complete loan packages for closing and QC review
• Work closely with loan originators, underwriters, borrowers, and internal staff to keep files moving efficiently
• Maintain organized workflows and manage priorities across active files

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage loan processing experience
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA, and VA lending guidelines
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Customer-service-driven approach
• Ability to communicate clearly with borrowers and internal teams
• Experience preparing complete loan files for underwriting, closing, and QC review
• Encompass experience
