Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 base salary
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Overview:
Our client is hiring a detail-oriented Post Closer to support the final stages of the mortgage process. This role is responsible for reviewing closed loan files, ensuring accuracy and compliance, clearing post-closing conditions, and preparing files for investor delivery. It’s a strong fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure clean, complete loan packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit closed loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Verify key documents including 1003, disclosures, signatures, Right to Cancel, insurance, taxes, Closing Disclosures, and ALTA statements
  • Ensure all funding and closing conditions are satisfied
  • Prepare and ship loan packages for investor delivery
  • Follow up on trailing or missing documents
  • Communicate with internal teams and third parties to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate system updates and stay current with investor guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Mortgage experience with a focus in post-closing
  • Strong knowledge of investor guidelines and post-closing procedures
  • Experience reviewing complete loan files and documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with LOS systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
