AVP Mortgage Operations

Position Summary:
  • Oversee the Operations of the Lending Staff and assure high levels of service and performance.
  • The Operations Manager works directly with the President on the organizational, strategy and policy development and placement of such for the company.
  • Is responsible for the day to day operations of processing, closing, internal support, and loan servicing department staff.
  • Provide clear, direct and constant feedback to employees about their performance.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise processing, closing, internal support, and loan servicing department staff
  • Ensures staff and departments complete assigned work with highest degrees of customer service, quality of work and innovative solutions.
  • Works closely with the President in developing and implementing organization, strategy and policies.
  • Ensures staff complies with all regulatory requirements and with current and pending applicable rules, laws and regulations.

  • Provide exceptional leadership to all staff
  • Abide by all applicable rules and regulations
  • Become an expert in the selling and pooling of mortgage loans
  • Provide creativity in support staff models that can support steady growth

Knowledge and Skills:
  1. Knowledge of residential mortgage lending
  2. Knowledge of loan servicing
  3. Knowledge of final loan documentation
  4. Ability to manage and lead employees

7-10 Years in mortgage lending industry
3-5 years in management or leadership role.
Above average computer skills.

High School Diploma
College Degree Preferred
