Overview:
Our client is seeking a Closing Coordinator to manage loans through the final stages of the closing process. This role focuses on ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with investor and company requirements, while supporting a smooth and timely closing process.
Responsibilities:
Manage a pipeline of loans scheduled to close and ensure timelines are met
Review closing documentation for accuracy, including title reports, contracts, appraisals, and insurance
Review title commitments and coordinate the resolution of any liens or exceptions
Ensure all investor and company conditions are satisfied prior to closing
Review and verify Closing Disclosures and funding documentation
Coordinate with internal teams, title companies, and third parties
Manage loan data and conditions within Encompass
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
5+ years of mortgage closing or closing coordination experience
Legal experience within closing
Experience using Encompass
Experience reviewing title documentation and working through closing conditions
Exposure to New York closings and CEMA structures preferred
Strong understanding of closing documentation and funding requirements
Ability to manage multiple loans in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
