Our client is seeking a Scenario Desk Specialist to join their growing company.
Maintain solid understanding of mortgage concepts and underwriting regulations.
Function as a resource prior to underwriting submission to enable staff/lending partners to deliver complete files with first submission, based on specific scenario guideline or company overlays.
Provide details such as agency links and website information as a training tool for staff/lending partners, providing tools and education on where to find information on company overlays and guidelines.
Respond to a wide variety of inquires via telephone, chat line, and email.
Resolve issues in a positive and effective manner for both the company and the client.
Document and track status of client inquiries and identify and communicate frequently asked questions and/or important guidelines or changes to the Product Development Specialist.

Technical Skills: Must have advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be able to navigate through Government, Agency and Investor Seller Guides and navigate through AllRegs.
This ideal candidate will have 3-5 years previous experience within the mortgage industry as a Processor, Junior Underwriter or the equivalent. This individual must have knowledge in basic lending and underwriting policies and procedures, including guidelines issued by all mortgage agencies (FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC).
Must have demonstrated PC proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
Experience using mortgage loan origination systems, automated underwriting systems and pricing systems preferred.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and work 40 hours a week.
