Accounting Supervisor

 Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.

  • Perform month end close process including creating and posting journal entries
  • Maintain month end close checklist
  • Complete all detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Daily clearing of outstanding checks/wires
  • Timely complete all monthly bank reconciliations
  • Review and record monthly commission calculations and payroll
  • Assist Controller with the annual budgeting process
  • Maintain the company’s fixed assets
  • Review work of accounts payable staff to ensure all activity has been recorded accurately and timely
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Experience working with multiple reporting entities
  • Experience working with multiple currencies
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Good working knowledge of other Microsoft office tools
Credentials and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
