Loan Officer Assistant – Private Money Lending
📍 Location: In-Office | Huntington Beach, CA
💼 Salary: $50,000 base + per-file bonus
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client, a well-established private money lender, is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant with hands-on experience in DSCR, Bridge, and Fix & Flip loan products. This in-office role requires a detail-oriented, borrower-facing professional who can assist throughout the loan process—from intake to close.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Loan Officers in managing a pipeline of private lending files

• Work directly with borrowers to complete loan applications and collect documentation

• Ensure files are organized, accurate, and compliant with internal and investor guidelines

• Conduct initial loan reviews and help prepare files for underwriting

• Track and follow up on outstanding conditions and borrower items

• Communicate with third parties (title, escrow, insurance) as needed to facilitate closings

• Maintain CRM records and support general administrative needs of the loan team

Requirements:

• Experience with DSCR, Bridge, and Fix & Flip loan programs is required

• Previous experience in private or hard money lending strongly preferred

• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with borrowers

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously

• Familiarity with loan origination systems and private lending documentation

• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a proactive work ethic

• Must be able to work on-site in Huntington Beach, CA

Compensation:

• $50,000 base salary

• Bonus paid per file closed
