Position: Junior Mortgage Operations Manager
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Compensation: $70,000 base salary plus incentives (total compensation potential $100,000+)

Our client is seeking a Junior Mortgage Operations Manager to support and oversee the most critical phase of the loan lifecycle, from contract to closing. This role is focused on execution, coordination, and issue resolution to ensure loans stay on track and close on time.

This position supports the broader operations team by monitoring active files, identifying potential issues early, and stepping in when communication gaps, delays, or borrower concerns arise. You will work closely with processors, loan officers, Realtors, and borrowers to keep timelines intact and expectations aligned.

This is a hands-on operations role for someone who understands how loans move from contract to the closing table and is comfortable managing details, communication, and pressure in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities include managing active files from contract through closing, monitoring the pipeline to ensure clean and timely progression, identifying and resolving issues before they escalate, supporting processors by keeping milestones on track, acting as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, translating complex mortgage details into clear and client-friendly communication, and stepping in to de-escalate concerns when deals go off course.

Requirements include a solid understanding of loan structuring and mortgage guidelines, experience managing loans from contract to close, strong communication and situational awareness, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and comfort working in a high-volume environment. Broker channel experience is a plus.
