We are seeking an Capital Market/Secondary Marketing Analyst to work in office in Baltimore, MD
You will be responsible for:
Provide support to managing warehouse lending facilities for rental and bridge loans
Upload property appraisals
Prepare loan tapes in order to pledge loans as collateral
Monitor borrowing bases
Request draws as needed to support daily loan funding activity
Assist with the full life cycle of loan sales
Execute rate locks as requested
Prepare loan sale tapes
Deliver electronic loan files to third-party due diligence providers
Clear loan exceptions raised during due diligence review
Produce accurate loan sale settlement statements
Generate assignments of mortgage and allonges
Work with Post-Closing to ensure physical documents are delivered to loan buyers
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (Accounting, Sales, Processing, and Servicing) and existing loan purchasers to successfully originate and sell loans.
Perform loan level data cleansing, review, and analyses
Requirements
3+ years of finance and/or mortgage experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Problem solving skills
Real estate knowledge is a plus
Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
Proficiency with Outlook and Adobe products
Post-closing experience is a plus, but not required
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to quickly pivot and adapt to business process changes
Experience with R, Python or SQL is a plus, but not required
